Brothers two others beskriver sin musik som Ny
svensk cooljazz: cooljazz för att de inspirerats av
dess tonspråk men också av det avspända och
luftiga som karaktäriserar genren, och svensk för
närvaron av vemod och melankoli. All musik är
nyskriven och låtarna berättar historier om
frigörelse och ensamhet, men också om sommar-
stugor och karuseller.

Tack vare Brothers two others musikaliska
skicklighet känns musiken lätt och vilsam, även i
livfulla teman och höga tempi. Låtarna omfamnas
med värme och känsla, samtidigt som de utmanas
genom nyfikenhet och mod. För inspirationen står
en av cooljazzens grundare Lennie Tristano, men
även de svenska musiker som har populariserat
stilen här i Sverige, såsom Lars Gullin, Rolf
Billberg och Jan Allan.

Brothers two others består av bröderna Jakob och
Daniel Gustafsson som spelar tenorsax och
kontrabas, samt Niclas Lindström och Daniel
Svensson som spelar trummor respektive gitarr.

Thanksgiving Dinner consisting of generous portions of turkey and stuffing served on your plate, with a buffet of sides including: mashed potatoes, homemade turkey gravy, green bean casserole, steamed vegetable mix, tossed salad, corn on the cob and homemade cornbread.

Pumpkin pie with whipped cream (wish I could offer Cool Whip) and coffee for dessert.

(A vegetarian alternative is also available)

Dinner will start to be served at 18:00.

WHERE: Southern Kitchen at Östra Förstadsgatan 24, in Malmo

TUESDAY: Quiz Night and Thanksgiving Dinner with Quiz Master Joshua Alvarez from Buffalo, NY.   Quiz starts at 19:00.

WEDNESDAY: Thanksgiving Dinner with Lou Clayton playing evergreens and light jazz on the piano from six to nine.

THURSDAY: A great jazz night for jazz lovers! There will be great trombone by our very own host Ola Åkerman, fantastic saxophone by American native Ed Epstein, and trumpet by the amazing Anders Bergcrantz plus a swinging rhythm section starting at 20:00.  *Price includes a 50:- donation for the musicians.

PRICE:  250 SEK per person

*NOTE:  Thursday night the price will be 300 SEK.  50 kronor of the price will help to support the arts for the evening.
